Import Confirmation

After Magic Import processes your pasted text, you land on the Import Confirmation screen. This is your chance to review everything the AI found before any data is saved. Nothing is committed until you say so.

The Review Screen

Each item the AI extracted is displayed as a card showing:

• Type — the category of the item, such as Flight, Hotel, Car Rental, or Activity
• Title — the name of the booking (e.g., "Delta Flight DL 402" or "Marriott Chicago Downtown")
• Dates — the start and end date/time of the item
• Venue or Address — the location associated with the item, if detected

Accepting, Editing, or Discarding Items

You have full control over each parsed item before it's imported:

• Accept — keeps the item as-is and includes it in the import
• Edit — opens an inline editor so you can correct any field the AI got wrong
• Discard — removes the item from the import entirely; it won't be saved

You can act on items individually or use the bulk controls to accept or discard all at once.

Trip Matching

Once you confirm your selections, TixTrk determines where each item belongs:

• If the item's dates overlap with an existing trip (within a 2-day window), you'll be prompted to add it to that trip.
• If no matching trip is found, TixTrk can create a new trip automatically using the dates and location from the imported items.

TIP

If an item is matched to the wrong trip, use the edit option to adjust the dates before confirming — this will influence which trip it gets assigned to.
