Dashboard

The Dashboard is your command center in TixTrk. Every time you open the app it gives you an at-a-glance view of what is coming up, what needs your attention, and what is on near you, without digging through your saved shows.

On a wide enough browser window the whole Dashboard fits on one screen with nothing to scroll. On a narrower or shorter window it scrolls normally. You can turn the fitted layout off if you prefer to scroll, and you can hide sections you do not use. See Dashboard settings.

Your first visit

Before you have saved anything, the Dashboard shows you what it is going to become rather than a blank page. The top line becomes a short getting-started guide, and the Next Show and Next Trip cards explain what will appear in them, each with a button to get you there.

Nearby Tonight is live from the start, because it works off your location rather than your saved shows, so there is something real to look at on day one. As soon as you save a show or plan a trip, the guide steps aside and the Dashboard fills in with your own data.

Your day in one line

A single line across the top gives you today's date, how many shows you have locked in, and how many trips you have planned. Locked in means Confirmed, Ticketed, or attached to a trip.

When a section has nothing to show yet, it says so and offers you the way forward: Next Show points you to artist search, Next Trip to Trip Hub.

Next Up

Next Up holds two cards side by side.

Next Show is your next upcoming concert: the artist, the venue, the date, and how many days away it is. Tickets opens the ticket link when there is one, and View Trip jumps to the trip if the show is attached to one. Click the artist or venue name to open its page.

Next Trip is your next trip: where you are going, the dates, and how many events and essentials you have added so far. Click it to open the trip.

Action Required

Action Required is TixTrk's logistics engine. It scans your upcoming shows and flags anything that may need attention before the date arrives.

Common alerts include:

• Unlinked show: a Confirmed or Ticketed concert that has not been attached to a trip yet
• Missing hotel: a trip exists but no hotel has been added
• Missing flight: a trip exists but no flight has been added. Clicking it opens that trip with the flight search already up. See Finding Flights.

Each alert takes you straight to the concert or trip it is about.

It sits beside Next Up on a wide window and above it on a narrower one. When more alerts exist than fit, a +N more button opens the full list. When there is nothing to do the section disappears entirely and a small All logistics clear note appears next to Next Up instead.

TIP

Local shows within your Home Base radius do not trigger hotel or flight alerts. TixTrk assumes you do not need to travel for those. The radius is set in Settings on the web app; the iPhone app honors that value but has no field to change it. See Home Base.

Nearby Tonight

Nearby Tonight shows what is playing near you right now, without you having to search for anything. It uses your location if you allow it, and falls back to your Home Base if you would rather not share it.

If nothing is on tonight it does not just say so. It rolls forward to the next night that does have shows and tells you which night that is, so a quiet Monday does not hide a busy weekend.

See all opens the full list, where you can switch between Music, Comedy, Sports and Arts. The card itself always shows music. Anything you find can be saved straight to your shows with the + button.

TIP

How far Nearby Tonight looks is set by Nearby Radius in Settings, separate from your Home Base radius. See Logistics Check.

WARNING

Not to be confused with Nearby Shows on the Shows page. Nearby Tonight is about where you are now; Nearby Shows is for looking up a city and date range you are planning to travel to.

On The Radar

On The Radar sits beside Nearby Tonight and lists the upcoming shows you have saved but not locked in yet, soonest first. Each row shows the date, the city, the artist and the venue, and takes you to that show.

The two feeds pair deliberately: Nearby Tonight is what is on that you have not seen yet, On The Radar is what you already have your eye on.
