Essentials and The Bench

The right panel of Trip Hub contains two tools that sit alongside your itinerary: the Essentials dock for things you need to bring or arrange, and The Bench for ideas you haven't committed to yet. Together they help you keep track of the details that don't belong on the timeline but still matter for the trip.

Essentials

The Essentials dock is a short list of trip-level items — things you need to have sorted before or during the trip regardless of the day-by-day schedule.

Common examples include:

• Travel documents (passport, ID, tickets)
• Work items you're bringing along
• Gear or equipment for the shows
• Reservations that aren't time-specific enough to be itinerary items

To add an essential, tap Add Essential, give it a name, and optionally add a note.

Gym Day Pass

Essentials includes a dedicated Gym Day Pass field for tracking workout options at your destination. You can set this field to one of three values:

• Walk-in price — enter the cost for a drop-in visit
• Via app — access is handled through a third-party fitness app
• Not offered — the venue or area doesn't have a walk-in option

This keeps your fitness plans visible without cluttering the itinerary.

TIP

Essentials items with a physical location appear as neutral-colored markers on the Trip Hub map, so you can see how they relate to your concert venues.

The Bench

The Bench is a holding area for places and ideas you're considering but haven't decided to add to the itinerary yet. Think of it as a shortlist for the trip — restaurants you've heard about, a museum that might be worth a morning, a bar near the venue.

To add something to The Bench, tap Add to Bench and fill in the name, location (optional), and any notes.

Promoting Items to the Itinerary

When you decide an idea from The Bench is actually happening, you can promote it directly to the itinerary without re-entering any details. Tap the item on The Bench and select Add to Itinerary. You'll be prompted to choose a day, item type, and time, and the item moves from The Bench to the timeline.

Items that remain on The Bench at the end of the trip stay there for reference — they won't appear on your itinerary or affect the map unless promoted.
