Shows

Shows is your concert pipeline. It is where every show lives from the moment you first think "I might want to go to that" all the way through to "tickets are in my pocket." Every concert you save in TixTrk lands here, alongside new shows TixTrk finds for you based on the artists and venues you follow.

Tabs

Shows has two tabs:

• Radar: everything you are considering, plus new shows worth a look
• Locked In: shows marked Confirmed or Ticketed; the ones you are actually going to

Radar

Radar mixes two things in one date-sorted list:

• Shows you saved that you have not committed to yet
• Shows TixTrk found for you, because a followed artist announced a date, a favorite venue booked something, or a show falls near one of your trips

Anything TixTrk found for you shows a + Save button. Save it and it becomes yours, exactly as if you had added it from search. Shows you have already saved never disappear from the Radar because of a filter.

Why is this show here?

Each row that came from a follow tells you why, in the Status column: Followed artist, Followed venue, or Near your trip. Hover it to see which artist, venue, or trip it was.

Filters

Three controls narrow the list:

• All / Saved only / Follows only: pick whether you want everything, just your saved shows, or just the new finds
• Artists / Venues / Trip: turn any source of suggestions on or off. Each one shows how many shows it is contributing. Turning a source off never hides a show you saved.
• Scope: how far afield to look for new shows: Local, Home country, Continent, or Worldwide

The source toggles reset every time you open the page, so you always start seeing everything.

TIP

Set your home base in Settings to get the most out of Local and Home country scope. Without it, TixTrk cannot tell what counts as nearby.

Status Progression

Every concert in TixTrk has a status that reflects where you are in the planning process. Statuses progress in one direction:

1. Interested: you have flagged it as something you are considering
2. Confirmed: you have committed to going, even if tickets are not purchased yet
3. Ticketed: you have tickets; this show is locked in

Set a show's status using the Interested / Confirmed / Ticketed control in its detail panel: expand any row to open it. Confirmed and Ticketed are both "locked in"; the distinction simply records whether tickets are actually in hand. Status is independent of trips: a Confirmed or Ticketed show does not have to be on a trip, but you can link it to one from the same panel whenever you are ready.

TIP

The Dashboard's Action Required section monitors your Confirmed and Ticketed shows for missing logistics. Keeping statuses current means TixTrk can surface the right alerts at the right time.

About the Artist

Open any show's detail view and you will find an About the Artist panel below the status and ticket controls. It gathers background on the performer so you know what to expect:

• Quick facts: genre, hometown, and, for bands, the year they formed.
• Bio: a short summary from Wikipedia, with a link to read the full article.
• Playing live lately: the songs the artist has played most often at recent concerts, and how many of those shows each song turned up in. It works as a rough preview of what you might hear at the show you are about to see.
• Links: open the artist on Spotify, Apple Music, Wikipedia, or setlist.fm.

The panel fills in on its own after the show opens, and it only shows the parts it can find. A lesser-known act might display just a fact or two, or nothing extra at all. You will see the same panel whether you open a show from Shows or from a nearby-events list.

Text Search

The search field at the top performs a free-text search across your list. It matches against artist name, venue, and city (and any notes you have added, on the Locked In tab), and works within whichever tab you are viewing.

Nearby Shows

The Nearby Shows button opens a modal that helps you discover events you might not have searched for yet. Enter a location and a date range, and TixTrk will surface upcoming events near that area during that window. This is useful for trip planning when you know you will be somewhere and want to see what is on while you are there.

Any show you find in Nearby Shows can be added directly with the same status options as Artist Search.

On Your Phone

Each show becomes a card: artwork, then the artist, date, and status stacked beside it. Venue and city appear under the artist name, along with the reason a show turned up on your Radar.

Deleting a Concert

To remove a concert, open the show's detail view and select Delete. You will be asked to confirm before the show is removed. Deleting a concert does not affect any trip it was linked to: the trip remains intact, but the concert association is removed.
