Artist Search ​

Artist Search is how you find shows to add to TixTrk. Search for any artist, comedian, or sports team and browse their upcoming events — then save the ones you're interested in directly to your wishlist.

Finding an Artist ​

On desktop, the search bar is available in the header at the top of every page. On mobile, tap the Artist Search item in the navigation menu.

Type the name of any artist, performer, or team. Results appear as you type, pulling live data from Ticketmaster's event database. Select the artist you're looking for to open their event listing.

TIP

Results include artists, comedians, and sports teams — not just musicians. If you're planning a comedy show or a game night, search for it the same way you would a concert.

Browsing Upcoming Events ​

Once you select an artist, TixTrk displays their upcoming events in chronological order. Each event card shows:

  • Event name and date
  • Venue name and city
  • Event type (music, comedy, sports)

Scroll through the list to find the specific show or date you're interested in.

Event Types ​

TixTrk pulls event data from Ticketmaster, which covers a broad range of live events:

  • Music — concerts, festivals, and tours
  • Comedy — stand-up shows and comedy tours
  • Sports — games and sporting events

All three types can be saved to your wishlist and managed the same way.

Adding a Show to Your Wishlist ​

On any event card, tap Add to Wishlist (or the plus button). You'll be prompted to choose a status for the show:

  • Interested — you're considering it but haven't committed
  • Confirmed — you're planning to go but don't have tickets yet
  • Ticketed — you have tickets in hand

You can always update the status later from your wishlist.

Tracking Artists ​

When you view an artist's event page, you can tap Track Artist to save them to your tracked artists list. Tracked artists make it faster to check back on upcoming dates — they appear in a quick-access list so you don't have to search again from scratch.

Tracked artists are separate from your wishlist. Tracking an artist doesn't add any shows; it just keeps the artist handy for future browsing.
