Magic Import

Magic Import is a hidden feature that lets you instantly create itinerary items from confirmation emails. Instead of manually entering flights, hotels, and other bookings, you paste in the email text and the AI does the work for you.

Unlocking the Feature

Magic Import is not visible by default — it's unlocked with a keyboard shortcut. On any page in TixTrk, press Up, Up, Down, Down on your keyboard. Once entered, a Magic Import button will appear in the Trip Hub. The unlock persists for your session.

Using Magic Import

1. Navigate to the Trip Hub and click the Magic Import button.
2. Paste your confirmation email text into the input field. This can be a flight confirmation, hotel reservation, car rental, or any similar booking.
3. Click Import — the AI parses the text and extracts the relevant details.
4. You'll be taken to the Import Confirmation screen to review the results before anything is saved.

TIP

Magic Import works best with standard confirmation email formats from major airlines, hotel chains, and booking platforms. If the AI misses something, you can always edit or add items manually on the review screen.

Smart Deduplication

When the AI detects dates from your pasted text, it checks your existing trips for date overlap. If a matching trip is found within a 2-day window, TixTrk will offer to add the new items to that trip rather than creating a new one. This keeps related travel automatically grouped together.
