History Importer
The History Importer lets you bulk-add past concerts to your show history without entering them one at a time. If you've got years of shows to catch up on, this is the fastest way to get your history into TixTrk.
Getting Started
Open the History page and click the Add Past Shows button. This opens the History Importer, where you can paste in a list of concerts in whatever format you have them.
Pasting Your List
You don't need a specific format — the AI accepts a wide range of inputs. Some examples of what works:
Tool Mar 11 2022 ChicagoRadiohead - June 5, 2016 - Madison Square GardenPhish NYE 2019 MSG NYC
Paste your full list into the text field (one show per line works best) and click Parse. The AI will extract the artist name, date, venue, and city for each entry.
TIP
The AI handles a variety of date formats and common city abbreviations. If you have a long list, paste it all at once — it processes everything in a single pass.
Reviewing the Results
Parsed shows appear in a review table. Each row displays the extracted artist, date, venue, and city. Rows are highlighted in yellow when selected for import, making it easy to see what's queued up.
You can select or deselect individual rows, or use the Select All control to toggle everything at once. Before confirming, take a moment to scan for any entries the AI may have misread — you can remove those rows and re-add them manually.
Deduplication
TixTrk checks each parsed show against your existing history. If a show has already been imported — same artist and same date — it will be flagged and skipped automatically. You won't end up with duplicates.
Importing
Once you're satisfied with your selections, click Import Selected. The chosen shows are added to your history immediately and will appear on the History page.
